Biography:
Dr. Molood S. (Farnoosh) Safavi is a cognitive scientist and earned her joint PhD degree with specialization in Neurolinguistics and Psycholinguistics from IDEALAB program, the universities of Groningen (NL), Potsdam (DE), Newcastle (UK), Trento (IT) and Macquarie (AU). She is interested in the underlying mechanisms of linguistic processing and has experimental approaches to language and brain, having used different methodologies like EEG, eye-tracking and nTMS. Currently, she is working in the Berlin-based technology development company of ANT Neuro (eemagine) as the product manager for visor2 navigated TMS and as the scientific project manager to validate the usefulness of this methodology for presurgical mapping of tumor patients.
