Navigated TMS Workshop 2018 | by KCL & ANT Neuro

The London Navigated TMS Workshop has been awarded 10 CPD credits by the Royal Society of Medicine in accordance with its current guidelines. Completion of the workshop enables participants to gain 10 CPD accreditation points, contributing to professional development and revalidation evidence.

Aim

To review the principles behind and the practical application of neuronavigated transcranial simulation (nTMS) in neurological and neurosurgical practice.

Objectives

· Understand principles of neuro-navigated transcranial magnetic simulation (nTMS)

· Know about the range of applications of nTMS in neurosurgical practice

· Understand cortical mapping using nTMS

· Know about the application of nTMS for pain relief,

for treatment of psychiatric disorders and for neuro-rehabilitation
