Biography:
Professor Duncan Turner has been developing robot-mediated neurorehabilitation techniques for clinical use for over 12 years. The clinical trial work has been performed in the NHS and mainly in stroke patients. Duncan is the Director of the Neurorehabilitation Unit at UEL and has held honorary contracts at several NHS Trusts in Cambridge and London. He is the Rehabilitation Theme co-lead for the NIHR funded Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative Network, hosted by Cambridge University Health Partners and a member of the UCLPartners Centre for Neurorehabilitation based in London. He has been vice-chair of a EU COST Action on Robotics in Neurorehabilitation and is currently a member of the EU COST Action on Wearable Robotics
